Harpenden 763951

Wheathampstead 832258

The Doctors have asked patients to give the receptionist a brief discription of their symptoms.  This enables us to ensure you are given an appointment with the correct clinician - we now have an Emergency Care practitioner who can deal with many urgent problems and patients will be offered an appointment with the ECP if he can deal with the problem. This frees up the GPs to allow them to deal with more complex issues.

Thank you for your co-operation.

ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS

Patients are encouraged to see their own GP whenever possible.

Appointments are at 10 minute intervals and can be booked up to one month in advance - if you have multiple problems to discuss - please ask to book a double appointment ( 20 mins ) If this is not done - the GP may deal with the most important problem during the appointmentThe GP can only deal with one patient during each 10 minute appointment - they cannot 'squeeze' in another family member.

To book an appointment - the quickest and easiest way is to go online - see link above for details.

COMMUTER SURGERIES

We offer early morning and late evening appointments on certain  Wednesday mornings and  Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with GPs and Nurses. Please ask at reception for details

CANCELLATIONS

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. Patients can use the automated telephone and online systems to cancel appointments.
