Travel Clinic

We run a comprehensive Travel Clinic offering vaccination and advice on avoiding many foreign illnesses including malaria, typhoid, hepatitis, yellow fever, rabies and Japanese encephalitis.

For all these services, please ask reception to make an appointment for you to see our nurse though, for young children, appointments are sent automatically.

It is very important to make an appointment as early as possible - 6-8 weeks before you travel as you may require a course of vaccinations that require 6 weeks to complete.

If you delay in making your appointment we may not be able to vaccinate you.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. Please make sure you have the facility with you to be able to pay CASH or CHEQUE for any outstanding balance.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel please download and complete the travel questionnaire.  Please drop the form into your surgery as soon as possible.
