Practice Nurses

Our practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses who can help with a wide range of health issues. Some of the services they offer include advice about family planning, healthy-living advice and smoking cessation.

They also run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes. They can perform immunisations, blood pressure checks, cervical smears, ECGs (tracings of the heart), lung function tests, dressings, suture removals, ring pessary changes and much more.

Healthcare Assistants

Our healthcare assistants support our practice nurses and GPs to carry out a variety of different checks including NHS health checks, some long term condition checks, smoking cessation, ear syringing and assisting the GPs in minor surgery and contraceptive procedures.
